Keawanui Fishpond Updates 8/17/22

ʻĀina Momona is restoring ʻāina, one kalo at a time.

While less-healthy and less-sustainable foods continue to be imported to our islands, we must find ways to increase local food production to change the narrative, and move back to our traditional food systems.

Teaching our keiki these values will not only increase our own health as kānaka for future generations, but also the health of our environment.

ʻĀina Momona is committed to restoring the Kaʻamola ahupuaʻa in Molokaʻi so that our ancestral food systems can flourish once again.

We believe that this is the best way to ensure social justice for our communities, and health for our natural and cultural resources.
